Katarzyna Mojeścik

I was introduced to photography at an early age by my father, Jan. He was a talented photographer, often transforming our tiny apartment in Poland into makeshift photo lab to develop films and print photos. My father Jan viewed photography as a means to express himself, which is one of my favorite things about it as well.

In my photos I capture moments of everyday life and do not stick to any rigid thematic framework. I look for beauty around me and aim to share this beauty to others through my images. I focus on simplicity and like to operate with light and shadows as my preferred tool for composition.
